Tsolmon and I designed an ice bowl which would keep the bowl cold for a while. It was realistic but there were several problems. First, an ice bowl is not necessary thing. It is available when you eat ice cream, so people who don’t like eating ice cream, will not buy it. Furthermore, it is not easy to keep the bowl cold. Ice in the bowl will make the bowl cold, but after some minutes the ice will melt and the ice cream or something else that was in the bowl will melt either. Outer layer of bowl is made out of china and it will be broken easily. If you pour water in the space between stainless steel layer and china layer the china layer could be cracked and the steel layer would be crooked. After that it will not be able to use it. This problem occurs because as the water become ice the volume of water is expanded.

The ice cream ice bowl is possible to make, but it will be hard to be use by many people.

At the beginning of this unit, I was researching about the skills and technologies that keep something cool or hot for a long time and I found an electrical mat. There are some tubes underneath the mat and the tubes heated by electric and become hot or warm. So I suggest to Tsolmon that tubes around the bowl. It was the beginning of our idea. I cooperate with Tsolmon. I searched and found good information. I also tried her to make poster. Tsolmon and I decided to draw a bowl in the poster and I tried to draw it. But I wasn’t good at drawing bowl, so she drew it. I didn’t have anything to write in the poster, so I brought some color markers and pencils.

In the presentation, I didn’t do good job. I had nothing to tell, because I didn’t add any explanations on the poster even though I knew about our idea.
